Good news came today for this week's Hottie of the Week. This morning, Josh Brolin was nominated for his first Academy Award. I know many of you will say "what, he wasn't nominated for his work in Goonies?!" No, surprisingly he was overlooked as Brand Walsh, brother to Mikey and tag-along on the famous treasure hunt for One-Eyed Willie's booty. Redemption is his with today's announcement of his supporting actor nomination for his role opposite Sean Penn in the film Milk. With the NFL season winding down, its time to pay homage to one of the hottest reasons to watch the hard-hitting game. David Carr, the California-born quarterback who after a lengthy stint with the Houston Texans can now be found heating up the roster with the New York Giants, makes us forget about suffering through an entire season without the injured Tom Brady. Besides, last we checked, David Carr hasn't knocked up any girlfriends or dated any supermodels. We like to refer to him as the "new and improved Tom Brady."
